JACO, Costa Rica (November 10, 2009) Pedro's provided the backdrop for the press conference prior to this year's Ruta de Los Conquistadores with its message to protect the environment. Costa Rica boasts the richest population of birds of any country in the Western Hemisphere many of which face the threat of extinction due in large part to the squandering of our planet.
